EXPERIENCE

Health Care Coordinator/Intake Specialist/BHT: Hunkapi Programs             February 2019 – Present

  • Manage the intake and care of all clients who are referred to Hunkapi (averages about 25 referrals per week)

  • Works in close collaboration with case managers and staff in the evaluation of client needs and directs appropriate placement

  • Responsible for maintaining monthly, quarterly and annual attendance goals for programs

  • Responsible for case management, charting, progress notes and billing preparation for all state contracts

  • Assists in equine therapy and group life skills sessions with children who have a wide range of mental and physical disabilities

Proudest Achievements 

Opportunity: at just 19 years old to be part of a small team selected by the company owner to open new locations. I was recommended by my general manager in recognition of my hard-work and loyalty. 

Awarded: the presidential scholarship, which enabled me to complete my associate degree and certification without accruing student debt.
